This course, the Mount of the Lord, has awakened an awareness in my spirit that the Greatness of the Lord and His presence are far beyond our understanding. Moriah is surely one of the most important mountains mentioned in the Bible, and one of the most well-known, the mountain where Abraham was to offer Isaac.
According to Genesis 22, Abraham, without hesitation and after God gave him the command to offer his son the next morning, saddled his donkey, got wood for the burnt offering, and started the journey with Isaac and two young men.
I cannot imagine a more difficult hike than this 3-day route! It must have been an exhausting journey.
